Tree Lodge at Sikumi overlooks a watering pan set in a grove of acacia and Mangwe trees. It’s ideal for anyone looking to see Africa at its best but doesn’t want to camp or self-cater.

The Lodge comfortably accommodates 30 guests with an option to either dine in the dining room or alfresco to savour the sumptuous delights from the menu that offers you a diverse selection of the very best of our African dishes, game dishes, and International cuisine.

Each chalet always has crisp and fresh bedding, bedside lamps, large mosquito nets, ample luggage racks and secure wooden vaults to keep your valuables. The pool is a stone’s throw away from all chalets, with a full-service fruit cocktail and juice bar and a shady Lapa for a special ‘braai’ (barbeque) of the tastiest game meat on offer.

You will enjoy morning, late noon & evening game viewing and bird watching drives on the private estate and or in the adjacent Hwange National Park in the safe company of professional guides who will constantly and gladly share their wealth of wildlife knowledge with you.

In keeping with safari tradition, night-by-night bonfires bring everyone together to recollect and share their day’s experiences and discoveries with the occasional Ndebele / Tonga cultural arts shows to give you some insight into our culture here in Matabeleland. For those special wildlife photographic and video moments, the Tree Lodge at Sikumi in Hwange is the perfect destination to be.
