The Batoka Hospitality Group will relaunch the newly refurbished Batoka Zambezi Sands River Lodge in March next year. It marks the first major milestone of the ecotourism group’s journey to empower local communities and boost the African tourism market.
Located in the western part of the Zambezi National Park, an hour’s drive from Victoria Falls, the five-star lodge offers 24 beds in 10 suites, each with a private plunge pool and views of the Zambezi River.
Later in the year, a two-bedroom suite will be added with its own swimming pool, lounge and dining room for guests who want extra privacy.
The lodge offers a spa and fitness centre, and its professionally licensed guides take guests on river cruises, game drives, or a tour of Victoria Falls. Canoeing and fishing are also available.
Facilities at the lodge include a dining room, lounge and bar. Private dining on guests’ private decks can also be arranged on request. – Tourism Update
