Many of the restaurants’ patrons have taken pictures underneath the sign and proceeded to send the pictures to loved ones and friends right across the globe. When giving directions to anyone looking for The Three Monkeys Restaurant, all one has to say is “You will see the I love Vic Falls sign and that is the restaurant and even in the night time, the sign is illuminated”.
The Three Monkeys Restaurant opened its’ doors to patrons in December 2016 just before Christmas time. It immediately gained popularity because of its central location, design and of course the famous sign. Soon news of the flavorful food, generous portions, and staff professionalism began to spread like wildfire. The Three Monkeys has remained consistent in offering only the best service and quality food & beverage. Travelers rate the restaurant highly on sites such as TripAdvisor and Facebook.
It is against this backdrop that The Three Monkeys has launched a programme that will benefit the youth within the community of Victoria Falls. The Three Monkeys Life Skills & Exposure Programme is designed to equip the local youth with the necessary skills to serve competently within the hospitality and food industry. Several youths with characteristics such as a strong desire to learn, a passion for the industry and an upbeat and friendly demeanor will be chosen and equipped with skills that will make them marketable within the industry.
Applicants are to be aged between 18 and 24 years. They must write an essay of no more than 500 words with the following heading “Why I believe I am the best candidate for The Three Monkeys Life Skills & Exposure Program”. The essay must be attached to a C.V. bearing a picture of the applicant on it. All applications must be sent to [email protected] Applications must be sent no later than 31 October 2017.
