Wilderness Air will open a private lounge at Victoria Falls International Airport this month.
Wilderness Air Business Unit Manager Zambezi, Graham Simmonds, said the lounge was for Wilderness Safaris guests who were connecting to lodges in Zimbabwe.
“It has an indoor air-conditioned area with relaxing chairs and sofas, complimentary drinks and coffee as well as an information hub with educational videos. It also boasts a beautiful indigenous garden in the atrium with a small fountain.” He said the lounge and atrium garden could accommodate 15 guests comfortably.
Completion of the lounge is in its final stage, said Simmonds, and is expected to open this month. Wilderness Air services Wilderness Safaris camps in Hwange National Park and Mana Pools from Victoria Falls International Airport as well as Robert Gabriel Mugabe International Airport in Harare.
