Stanley & Livingstone Boutique Hotel is the area’s first boutique hotel, with just 16 Suites, which offers guests (of all ages) a place to pause on a spectacular Southern African itinerary. The hotel’s elegant-yet-approachable design is a fresh take on the colonial style, and its spaces – a lounge, bar, restaurant, terrace and pool facing onto the neighbouring reserve waterhole – encourage guests to settle in and unwind. Every comfort, attentive service and good food enhance the experience, ensuring guests are very well taken care of.

Dining at 1871

1871 restaurant at Stanley & Livingstone is open to hotel guests, visitors, and locals alike, with an incredible view of wildlife on the reserve. The menu pairs excellent wines with enduring favourites like beef fillet, venison loin or pan-fried Zambezi bream;as well as a delicious selection of vegetarian and Vegan dishes. The sustainable, seasonal, farm-to-table ethos is evident in every single dish.

Accommodation

Though thoroughly modern in their luxuries, 16 Suites capture the charm of a bygone era. Their fresh design is an easy-going approach to colonial style, inviting you to make yourself at home. Each has a canopied king-size bed, minibar, slipper bath and walk-in shower, TV lounge, and terrace – for morning coffees and private dinners.

Experiences

Just a 10-minute drive from Victoria Falls, with complimentary daily transfers provided, Stanley & Livingstone offers the best of both worlds – a tranquil place in nature to restore self and the perfect base from which to enjoy many of the surrounding activities, from gorge swings to game drives, and much more.

Guests visiting the Victoria Falls Private Game Reserve will enjoy a once-in-a-lifetime encounter with a black rhino; the proceeds of which go towards supporting the dedicated anti-poaching unit. Through their visit, guests, therefore, contribute directly to the preservation of one of the world’s critically endangered animal species.
