Shamashanga Camp is a self-catering camp and accommodates up to 16 guests in 8 large, luxury East African style tents. The safari camp is situated near the old G-Camp site in the Sapi Safari Area. Each walk-in tent has a private en suite bathroom with a shower and is furnished to a high standard with twin ¾ beds.
Again, there is a large main lodge housing the dining room, bar and lounge area. Shamashanga Camp has an outside open fire pit with fantastic views over the Zambezi perfect for pre-dinner sundowners and post-dinner coffees. A small plunge pool is situated off to the side, out of view of the main lounge and dining area of the camp
Activities to Do
In addition to some of the finest sportfishing in Zimbabwe, we also offer game viewing cruises on the Zambezi. Shamashanga Camp offers opportunities for spectacular birding with over 300 species being recorded, game viewing and photography.
