Accommodation
Our primary service at Lion & Elephant is overnight accommodation. We have 38 rooms nestled along the banks of the Bubi River. The rooms include en suite bathrooms with showers or baths and have either single or double beds depending on your choice. We also have family rooms which have shared bathrooms and include bunk beds for the kids. Extra beds and baby cots are available for any room.
The rooms and facilities are surrounded by lush lawns and lie beneath some of the most beautiful trees you have ever seen. The perfect spot to escape the duress of the road and border. For those that have never stayed with us before, this site should offer an intro as to what you can expect when checking in with us. The Bubye Grill
One of the highlights of your stay at the Lion & Elephant will undoubtedly be dinner or breakfast with us at the Bubye Grill. Our friendly chefs and waiters shall ensure you do not leave disappointed or hungry – infact quite the contrary, we guarantee that if you are not careful you will eat too much.
The Bubye Café
There is a café serving both dine in or take-away meals and refreshments from 6am to 10pm everyday. The café is attended to by friendly staff and they will be more than happy to serve refreshments in the café or any of the quiet outdoor areas on the premises, including the swimming pool and along the river. Typical choices in the Bubye Café include chicken and beef pies, bush burgers, steak sandwiches, hot chips etc.
