Fishing Camp is situated 32km from Beitbridge, on the banks of the magnificent Mashilichokwe Dam, 7km of Pristine water with prime bass and bream fishing. The water boasts a myriad of birdlife, crocodiles and Hippos and the dam is surrounded by Mopani, Boabab and a wide variety of other trees with rocky outcrops and magnificent sunsets.

Accommodation

There are 7 chalets all overlooking at the beautiful dam with lush green lawns. From your own patio, you are able to enjoy watching the many bird species and wildlife on the water’s edge. Each chalet has a king bed and two three quarters, all with air conditioning, bar fridge, tea and coffee facilities and en suite bathroom with bath and shower.

Our self-catering chalet, sleeps 4 people, in a king bed and 2 singles. The chalet is fully air-conditioned and has its own fully equipped kitchenette with stove, microwave and fridge/freezer.

Things to Do

We have a boat launching site and a jetty where you can moor your boat whilst staying at the camp. If you aren’t able to bring a boat, not to worry you can hire one. The lodge has its own pool, situated near the dining and bar area.

Other activities available are sunset cruises, game drives, bush walks, tours of the historic bushman caves, grain bins and cave paintings. And not to forget the incredible ‘Fly Camp’, where during feeding season, you will get the opportunity to view up to 300 elephant and numerous other game.
