Chirundu Safari Lodge is located on a private wildlife concession on the banks of the Zambezi. The lodge boasts 3 different types of accommodation Tamarind Tented Camp, Pump House Campsites and the Lodge itself.

The Main Safari Lodge is located on a ridge with a superb view overlooking the Lower Zambezi Valley and is protected by a perimeter fence which allows visitors to safely watch the myriad of wildlife that congregates day and night at a nearby natural water hole and adjacent dam.
The Zambezi River is less than 1 km away making easy access for boating and river activities. The luxurious Tamarind Tented Camp is situated within a grove of wild Tamarind trees right on the banks of the Zambezi River in the same concession. On this stretch of virgin riverside forest and flood plain, it is teeming with wild animals and birdlife. For client safety, the camp is protected by a predator fence. This traditional African tented experience is not to be missed!
For those who might be in search of a more traditional African self-camping experience, Chirundu Safari Lodge now offers the Pump House Campsites on the banks of the Zambezi River near the iconic Pump House within the same concession. These limited sites are situated on a forested peninsula giving safety to the campers from the abundant wildlife. Every site has breathtaking views of the Zambezi River and distant Zambezi escarpment.
There are currently only 4 Camp Sites, each a good distance from the other and all have their own independent facilities. For the discerning camper who does not have a tent, we also hire dome tents for use at the Pump House Camp Sites and there is an option for bedding hire is also required.
