Miombo Safari Camp has the distinction of being the closest quality accommodation to Hwange National Park Main Gate & is located in the DETE annex, on a private concession within the eastern border of the Hwange National Park

Nestled amongst trees on the edge of the world-renowned Hwange National Park, Miombo Elephant Camp & Little Miombo provide a relaxed & charming safari destination less than 2 hours’ drive from Victoria Falls. Miombo is the closest lodge to the private tour operator access gate into Hwange National Park.

Accommodation

Miombo offers 2 separate camps plus an overland camping area to suit different guest requirements. Miombo Elephant Camp has a thatched main lounge, dining area, bar, social firepit, swimming pool & a raised viewing deck overlooking a private waterhole. Little Miombo is adjacent to Elephant Camp, has its own private waterhole, & can be used as an independent self-catering camp or in conjunction with Elephant Camp.

Game Drives
These take place in Hwange National Park and/or the Painted Dog wildlife estate, renowned as the home terrain of the world-famous Presidential Elephant Herd.
